Ms. Baker joined Cuddy & McCarthy, LLP (formerly Cuddy, Kennedy, Albetta & Ives, LLP) in June 2003.  Prior to joining Cuddy & McCarthy, she was an assistant Public Defender practicing in both Children=s and Magistrate Court.  Ms. Baker also served as a deputy Public Defender for the Colorado State Public Defender in the City and County of Denver in 2005.  Ms. Baker rejoined the Firm in August 2010.  Her main areas of practice are Education Law and Employment Law.

Ms. Baker obtained her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2002.  During law school she received the Dean=s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School Community.  She obtained her B.A. from Smith College in 1991.

Ms. Baker is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico and the Colorado Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice before the state courts of New Mexico and Colorado and the United States District Court for the Districts of New Mexico and Colorado.
